Re: Fashion Meets Twitter

Back when futurist Thomas Frey visited our class, he spoke about "digital fashion" as a future trend. My guess is that such fashions will be powered by our "all-powerful" smartphones. After all, watches like the forthcoming Pebble will be connected to a smartphone in your pocket via Bluetooth wireless connection; the primary computing power and connectivity is in the phone, and the watch has less to do. It probably will be the same for digital fashion. You wouldn't want to have to incorporate a computer or powerful mini processor in a piece of clothing, but if the phone is doing most of the computing, then digital fashion becomes feasible.
