Not only would this be useful for tablets, but when the technology advances a bit further, it could be great to replace the LCD screens on cameras. Since many cameras these days only have an LCD to frame a shot and not a traditional viewfinder, taking a photo in bright sunlight with only an LCD is challenging, to say the least. ... The one issue -- for tablets and for camera screens -- is that ideally you'd want the device to be able to flip back and forth between the paper-like display illuminated by external light, and a backlit mode for night or low-light use. (I couldn't tell from that video you linked if this would be coming.)
